Mr. Isitt in his character m an Independent has been allocated 3 seat with the Party that acknowledge* adherence to the Government,, rathe, than to the Reform Party, his politic! companions being Messrs. J. P. Lukf D. M’Laren and A. M. Myers. NO LICENSE DISTRICTS. A showing in respect of. the licensing districts of CTutha and Tuapeka the- total number of convictions for crimes and offences, distinguishing between offences against the ; Licensing Act, against the person, against property and breaches of by-laws, was presented to Parliament to-day. In Clutlia the convictions for the four years were. 69, 42, 48; and 96 aif in' Tuapeka the figures were 46, 31 66, and 07.
