WEDDING.
CURTIS—JAMBS. A very pretty wedding took place at Holy Trinity Church, Stratford, on Thursday, July 13, When Miss Gladys James, second daughter of, Mr.‘ S. H. James, Stratford, was married to Mr. H. Stuart Curtis (late of Chicago, U.S.A.), only son of Mr. C. S. Curtis, Stratford. 'The ceremony was performed by tiro Rev. W. A. Butler, V icar of Stratford. The bride locked very pretty in a dress of white neygon’ia, silk, trimmed, with tucked Brussels net and handsome ralenciennea Jace, with, the dlsaal wreath of real orange blossoms and veil. She waS attended by two bridesmaids, Miss Nellie James (sister of the bride) and Miss Elsie Curtis (sister of the bridegroom). They both Wore cream voile dresses with brown hats, and carried bouquets of autumn leaves. Mr. Tom James'(brother of the bride) officiated as best man. As the wedding party left.the church Miss Black played the wedding march. After the ceremony the bride’s parents entertained the bridal party and a few of their relatives at their residence, Broadway North. The happy couple left by motor car for New' Plymouth, en route for Auckland. They were the recipients of a large number of beautiful presents. ,
