TARANAKI COMPANY. 1 Mr. Keith, manager of the Taranaki Petroleum Company, reports that at No. 3 bore drilling is proceeding satisfactorily. .The boro is now clown 4002 feet, and, a strong .scam of gas, with a fair amount of oil, ovna struck at a depth of 3995 feet. Tho bore is nowgoing through good, country. The boro is flowing as usual. At 6.30 on Wednesday night there was a slight blowout. . No. 2 bore is flowing as usual. No. 5 bore is now down to a depth of 1860 feet. Drilling is proceeding satisfactorily through good papa country-
