The North Island Tournament will commence on Monday on the Auckland greens, seven of which will be used. Wanganui defeated Wavorlejs on Tuesday in a five-rink match by 110 to 71. Tho St. John’s tonring team played two matches at To Aroba, one against tho local club, which they lost by 50 to 39, and a two-rink match against Auckland visitors, which they won by 41 to 40.
