VALDARES AND GARRISON EN TERTAINERS.
New Plymouth playgoers aro not likely to have forgotten the excellent show put on hy the Valdares Company at tho Theatre Royal last September. Seldom has a show visited the town and gone away leaving the all-rnund, geod impression gained by these worldfamed artists. Since the last visit to Now Plymouth the company have been considerably strengthened by the addition of Jules Garrison and his Roman Maids, who compress into half an hour sufficient .material for a complete evening’s entertainment. Tho Valdares are too well known to New Plymouth to need much comment. Another artist of more than ordinary abilty is “Roggiardo,” whoso clever juggling and cannon ball feats aro little if anything short of tile great Cinqnevalli. Other acceptable items aro contributed by Mien Diamond Hart, soubrette and dancer; Jimmy Mulligan, Irish-Ameri-ean comedian; Miss Alice Herman and Miss Gertrude Hart. The box plan is now open at Collier’s. BIOGRAPH PICTURES. Patrons aro reminded that to-night is the last opportunity of viewing thepresent popular series of pictures. Tonight the “Melbourne Cup” will be run for tho last time in Now Plymouth, “Tho Lesson of tho Sea” receives a final administration, and tho cheap “Excursion into Wales” carries many admiring passengers on a most beautiful tour of the country. To-morrow night a complete change of programme will lie screened, when every film will be up to date and high class.
