Tho executive of the Labour Party proposes to replace the old third clause of its constitution at the conference to be held at Leicester on February 1. Tho new clause requires electoral candidates strictly to abstain from promoting other interests than those of the Labour Party. Tho executive claims that the new clause puts Labour on the same footing as tho Liberals and Tories.
