BUTTER AND CHEESE. J. B. Mac Ewan and Co., Ltd., report tho following exports to London: —From New Zealand;—Shipped per Ruapehu, December 15, 1910, 1548 tons butter, 753 tons cheese ; chipped per Pnparoa, December 15, 1910, 24 tons butter, 705 tons cheese; shipped per Opawa, December 15, 1909, 932 tons cheese; shipped per Tnrafcina, December 16, 1900, 1524 tons butter, 858 tons cheese. Shipments to Date as Compared with Last Season. From Now Zealand— Butter: Season 1909-1910, 6880 tons; season 1910-1911, 7749 tons—increase 13 per font.. Choose; Season 1909-1910, 6243 tons; season 1910-1911, 4992 tons—decrease 20 per cent. From Australia (up to December 7) Butter; Season 1909-1910,11,264 tons; season 1910-1911, 16,460 tons —increase 44 per cent. For the Napier wool sale on Friday 16,014 bales are catalogued, a drop of 5000 as against tho third sale last year. The shortage is accounted for by the ! fact that several tliousands of bales are ; locked up at AVairoa owing'to steamers ; being unable to negotiate tho bar. ; Showery weather, too, has interfered : with shearing during the past fow | weeks.—Press Association.
