The official representative, Al. Lucien Nopenaire, was at present in New Zealand, and his request in connection with tho matter would bo very: cordially received. The exhibition would be one very largely of wool, and ho fully recognised the importance and value of it to New Zealand growers. New Zealand would also exhibit at tho Festival' of Empire. It was expected that some three hundred Now Zealanders would take p.Art in the Pageant of Empire, and it was probable that the troupe of Maoris who recently left Now Zealand with Maggie Papakura would also take part. New Zealand had had a very good exhibit at the Japanese exhibition. On the general subject of exhibiting, Sir Joseph AVard said that he was firmly of opinion that New Zealand could not afford to lag behind when other countries competing with us were in daily touch with the buyers of our products.
