ALL QUIET IN LISBON. FORMER REPORTS INCORRECT. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, Dec. 31. Tho Times’ Lisbon correspondent states that absolute tranquillity prevails in Portugal. The Minister of Finance recommends that ex-King Manuel lie allowed the revenues of his Braganza properties pending liquidation and State advances to tho Royal Qunily. In consequence of Germany’s protests, tho Government has withdrawn the decree that part of the Customs duties aro payable in gold, substituting the law of gold payment on certain goods. PARIS, Jan. 1, The latest Lisbon advices state that all is quiet. Colonel Machado explains that warships are absent chiefly on hospital duty in connection with tho outbreak of cholera at Madeira.
