PARIS, Jan. 1. ■ Reuter’s Madrid correspondent states • that the Cabinet, haying completed the first part of its programme, has re--signed, in order to ascertain whether it .still retains King Alfonso’s confidence. THE NEW MINISTRY. MADRID, Jan. 2. King Alfonso has renewed his coni' fidence in Senor Canalejas. The latter , is forming a more homogeneous Liberal • Cabinet; with Senor Gasset as Minister of Works, Senor Castrillo as Minister of the Interior, and Senor Salvatore as Jlliflister of Public Instruction.
