ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENTS. Pensioner. —An applicant for an oldage pension must be sixty-five years of age and must have resided continuously for not less than 25 years in the Dominion. His yearly income must not amount to £6O or upwards, and the not capital value of his accumulated property must not amount to £260 or upwards, irrespective of residence to the value of £l5O. The full pension is £26 a year, reducible by £1 for every £1 of income above £34, and also by £1 for every complete £lO of the not capital value of all accumulated property.
