(From Our Own Correspondent.) Oct. 17.—1 hear that Mr. Drosdowski’s house, on the Mountain Road, was totally destroyed by fire at about two o’clock this afternoon. No particulars are available at the time of writing. ■ The Moa Dairy Company to-day rescinded the resolution to pay out lOd per lb on the - season’s output. I understand that suppliers are now to bo paid at the rate of 104 d. The Biograph Pictures on Friday night .were witnessed by a very fair audience. Inglewood is to bo visited once a week. . A start has been made with the erection of handsome new premises for Mr. J. W. Winfield. Mr. Curtis’s new building is just about completed and makes a veryhandsome addition to Inglewood architecture. 1 A bazaar is to be held on Thursday and Friday in aid of the funds’ of St. Andrew’s English Church. Mrs. Jarley, with her famous waxworks, will provide the chief attraction, and there will be various competitions in addition to the usual money-extracting devices of a bazaar. • The first Inglewood Boy Scouts paraded to Knox Church yesterday morning, looking very neat and trim in their new uniforms. A stirring address was delivered hy the chaplain, Rev. D. J. Albert.
