The West End Bowling Chili aro adding to thoir number very fast since the annual mooting, and at tho meeting of .hold’ last Wednesday six names weto handed in to become playing members. Accounts wore passed for payment to the amount of £4!) 16s Id, and the .secretary was-a welcome visitor to a number of shops in town on Thursday morning, - : ’ ’* it was decided that the club-hold-a' euchre tournament on Tuesday next in the West End Opera House .and tickets can now be had for one shilling from any of the members. The secretary wishes to thank Messrs. C. W. Goyott, T. Avery, and the Herald for donations, and Mr. Draro and Westport Coal Co,' for prices to bo competed for by the members during the season. , It has been arranged that for the next few Sundays some of tho committee Will be at the green to receive visitors during the afternoon and show them round-
