A MISSING MAN.
IDENTIFIED AT LAST, By Electria Telegraph.--Copyright. SYDNEY, Juno 24. An unknown man buried twelve months ago was identified to-day by his. tooth. On Juno 20 last tho body was found at Prospect in a dam with a bullet wound in tho forehead. A diary was found in his pocket without a name. Certain entries referred to a friend of the man named Cryor, who was missing from his home. , Writing to the. Now Zealand police, after much trouble specimens of Cryor’s writing were obtained from his father in London. It has boon proved that the diary belonged to Cryor. A description of the body, however, in no way tallied with that of Cryor, who left his home in tho Otago district on May 15. An entry in the diary said that ho -would leave Wellington at 6 p.m., the assumption being that Cryor had sailed for Sydney. Cryer’s father stated that his son had peculiarly-mended tooth. Tho body was exhumed, and tho teeth described by tho father wore found, establishing identity.
