PEARY AND THE SOUTH POLE.
(Received Sept. 18, 8.6 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 17. Captain Scott discredits the Labrador mail boat story that Commander Peary and Captain Bartlett, master of tibia Roosevelt, have decided to make an expedition to the South Pole. Experts in New York also discredit the story and consider that Commander Pear/ requires a long rest after his hardships in the North.
