Mr. Edward Buckle, late Registrar of the Native Land Court, has leit the Government service and set up its a,Native agent in Wellington. Mr. Buckle is an English solicitor, and during the 24 years of bus connection with the Native Land Court he luis ganx d an intimate knowledge of Native titles and a serviceable knowledge ot the Maori tongue. He has had considerable experience in conducting ooardu , in the Land Transfer oHice. It is a task that demands grtat diligence and patience and much special knowledge. Mr. Buckle will undertake such searches in connection with his ne,i business, and will hirni.sh details required regarding Native tith-b t:> land in both islands, including ChaH..mi Island and Steward Island.
