„ OFFICIAL LIST FOR TARANAKI. We print hereunder a complete 'utt for Taranaki of the persons admitted , by the board 'under "The New Zealand - Society of Accountants' Act, 1908" to ; membership 6t the New Zealand Society of Accountants. The board bad 2615 applications _to deal with, many ot wiuch wore unsatisfactory, for various reasons, and entailed a considerable amount of further evidence and correspondence before a final result could be obtained. The hoard's task, although a Jiesv/one, has been performed carefully and judiciously. Ot the total number of applications for membership, 2094 were finally approved., For Wellington city alone, there were 432 members registered. A certificate and a complete list of members will shortly be forwarded to each- member of the society. The next step will be the formation of the first council to frame the constitution and laws of the new society, for which nominations are now being^ called, returnable next month.
