BOARDINGHOUSE DE&TROtED.

By Telegraph.— Press Association. Christchjarch, Last Night. A nine-roomed house at Summer, owned by Mrs. E. White and occupied as a boardinghouee by Miss Campbell, was destroyed by tfre this morning. The building was insured for £400 and the furniture for £100, both in the National office. The house was temporarily unoccupied, a building contractor being en gaged adding three rooms and a bathroom. It is understood that the contractor had not iusured his risk, which was valued at £260.
