McLeod, again&t whom there were two former allegations, pleaded guilty and wab ftaed £5 on each of two. casee. The police stated that the illicit traffic had been going on for some time. Accused had been selling beer in the street at-the rate of Is 8d per bottle. He took home large quantities on Saturday and sold it in the street next day. Wilson, who pleaded not guilty, was sentenced to six weeks' imprisonment. ] 1 ]
