The Rev. Bates' forecast for the 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day is as follows: Northerly strong winds to gale; glass fall but rise after 20 hours; then southel ly strong winds to gale; tides good; sea considerable on coast; rain probable ; weither probably colder.
