Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, August 23. In the Supreme Court to-day, Magnus Badger was fined £25 on a charge of assault and causing bodily harm. Jas. Arthur, convicted last week on a charge of conspiring to defraud by means of the "three-card trick," was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment.
