HUNTING.

The North Taranaki Hunt held a b>e meet at Mr. J. Cole's farm, Waihi, on Saturday afternoon. There were about thirty members of the lwul hunt present and a number of visitors from the Hawera Hunt with several couples of hounds. An excellent afternoon's sport eventuated. Tho hounds led the, field at a merry pace throughout, and there were two kills. Mr. and Mrs. Cole hospitably entertained their visitors at the close of the bunt.
