NORTH TARANAKI HUNT CLUB

The North Taranaki Hunt Club held a by-meet at Mr. Mabin's tarm, Onaeno, on 'Thursday last, about 100 members being present. Several very good runs were obtained during the day, but there was only one kill. One or two gallops were spoiled owing to there benig too many hares. The jumping was again of first-class order. There were only two slight spills. Tho members w< re hospitably entertained by Mr. Mnbin at lunch and afternoon «toa.

Tho n°xt meet takes place at Mr. Birhng's farm. Waitara. Mrs. Cruisack has kindly ofiered to entertain the members of the club to dinner at 0 o'clock on the night of the meet.
