A BOAT WASHED ASHORE.

WELLINGTON, July 24. The constable at Waitotara reports that on Sunday last a six-oared whaleboat was found near Nukumaru Rock and the mouth of the Waitotara Hiver. It is about 25 feet long, and has no oars or rowlocks. It contains a 1-idy s felt hat and a kapoc pillow, awl it is suggested that the boat possibly bolonged to the barque Orleans, wrecked off the Tasmanian coast in June.
