Per Press Association WELLINGTON, Juno 11. The Hon. C M. Luke welcomed and supported the Dreadnought offer, and said it was desirable tho Premier should go Home unhampered by fear of what should happen in Parliament in his absence. The Hon. Anstey endorsed the. previous remarks, and suggested the development of the natural resources to find employment for the workless. Ihe Government had done noble work m land settlement, but more could be °The Hon. M 'Cardie heartily approved of the Premier going Home, and an adjournment of Parliament m the interval He looked upon him as a great man in whom every confidence was P The Hon. Dr. Findlay congratulated the mover and seconder on their appearance in the Council. He was pleased at the unanimity regarding the Government proposals. The motion was then agreed to and the CBtmeil rose till 2.30. - The Council resumed at 2.30, and adjourned in order to present «the Address-in-Reply to hia Excellency. On resuming the Governor's reply was read and the Council adjourned until 10.30 to-morrow morning. WELLINGTON, June 12. The Legislative Council met at 10.30 a.m. In answer to the Hon. J. Rigg, the Attorney-Genoral said he was not prepared to say when the Dreadnought motion woula come on. The Hon. Mr. Rigg urged the necessity of giving notice. If it was brought on by surprise he might deem it his duty to object. The council then adjourned till Monday morning.
