Lady Ward and Miss Ward will accompany the Premier on his coming visit to London. , Miss Perry and her cousin, Mrs. K. Pragnell from Masterton, are on a visit to New Plymoxith. A cable message from Adelaide states that Mr. Pendleton, railway commissioner, has retired after thirty-two years' service. . * The late Sergeant Bosworth is to be buried to-morrow with military honours. Deceased saw service in China, Crimea, the Indian Mutiny New Zealand, and South Africa. Subsequently ho was a garrison sergeant at New Plymouth. , , Mr Rex Brewster, who has recently passed his final medical examination, «as educated at Nelson College, not at Wanganui College as previously stated, and served an apprenticeship as a chemist with Mr. A. E. Sykes, of New Plymouth, prior to leaving for England to undertake his medical course. Isabel, 19 years of age. the only daughter of Mr. Arthur Harding, of "Siberia," Ashhurst, was thrown from a horse opposite the Heretaunga School yesterday afternoon. Bhe fractured her skull and died at 2 o clock this morning. Deceased was on a v»it to Mr. M'Tarlane, "Chve Grange with uhose daughter she was out riding at the time of the accident. — Hastings Press wire.
