IN THE COUNCIL.
Tho Legislative Council sat for a few minutes only to-day, tho new members and those whose appointment had expired by effusion of time and had been reappointed were sword in. A motion of condolence with the relatives of the late Hone Heke was passed. The Hon. James M'Gowan gave notice to move the Address-in-Reply and the Council adjourned until 10.30 a.m. to-morrow.
