MEAT IN AMERICA.
NEW YQRK, May 28. Six firms, comprising the Chicago Meat Trust, have again raised prices of meat a penny halfpenny and 'twopence per pound. Lamb chops aro now 17Jd per pound. Many of the small 'retailers are closing, the poorest classes . being unable to buy meat.
