AN IMPERIAL. NAVAL CONFERENCE.
(Received April 29, 8.45 a.m.) TENDON, April 28. Cabinet is considering a proposal to hold an Imperial Naval Conference in 1910. The conference is a corollary to Mr. Asquith*s recent suggestion in the House of Commons. In replying to questions the Hon,' R. M'Konna.vFirst Lord of the Admiralty, on behalf of Mr. Asgnith, stated that for all practical purposes the American navy did not enter the Governme_^'scalculations regarding the two-Powerj standard.
