Mr. W. A. Ballantyne, director of I Technical Education, reported that ••ince the beginning of the year grants amounting to £787 3s 9d had been rereived from the Department. Mr. Morison, the Board's instructor, had now completed his rounds of visits to the schools taking up agriculture. As Mr. Morison's engagement with the Board had expired, ho recommended that a committee be set up with a view to securing his services for a further erm. Miss Jones, cadet in the tecb•ical department, was giving every .atisfaction and he recommended that her appointment be confirmed and that her salary be £35 per annum. The .report was approved. The Chairman and Mr Tisch wore nppointed a committee to deal with the question of re-engaging Mr Morison.
