EGOMNT VILLAGE.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) April 19.— A very enjoyable evening was spent in the hall last Wednesday. The occasion was a birthday party given by Misses W. Batten and C. Armstrong. The hall was packed. Dances, songs, cards and phonographic selections «ere the order of the evening and early morning. On Thursday the Sunday School concert and tea was held. The concert was very successful. Mr Morton was chairman, and got tlw programme through in good time. The Key. Thomas presented the prizes, eacli child attending school receiving one. Mrs Matthews worked hard, and had the satisfaction of seeing everyone satisfied.
