MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.
ONE POLL NECESSARY
Nominations for the offices of Mayor and Councillors of New Plymouth for the ensuing year closed to-day. Tlie Mayoral chair will not be contested. Mi. G. Tisch having been elected unopposed. Only one poll will be necessary, that for the Councillors of the West Ward. Four nominations were received for three seats.
