TENSION ACUTE.

LONDON, April 5. Details of the differences between British and German financiers regarding the Hankow Railway show acute tension to exist through Germany persisting in an agreement made' with China behind the backs of England and France, contrary to the protocol signed a week earlier. German financiers showed a disposition to yield, but pleaded with the Foreign Office not to permit it.
