WELLINGTON, March 11. , A supplementary wool sal© was held here to-day, necessitated hy the heavy offerings at tho fourth ssAe of the season last month. Two thousand bales were" offered to a large attendance of buyers. Bidding. was spirited and prices averaged a farthing to a halfpenny over February rates. The range of ;prices was: Medium, halfbred 7£d. medium crossbred 4Jd to 6d, bellies and pieces 3d to 4£d, stained pieces and locks lid to 2|d, dead 4d to oid, crutch ings' 2d to 3§d, lambs^ best 6}d tn/7/id, lambs' medium 5d to 6id, lambs' inferior seedy 3sd to 4£d.
