AN AUSTRALIAN BUSH TRAGEDY

A mysterious tragedy is reported from Chinchilla. Two men, named Clements and Saxon, started ring-bark-ing on Monday, after delivering a note to the men previously engaged on the work. Last night, while sitting in his tent, Clements was shot dead, a bullet passing through his n°ck, and entering Saxon's neck later. The latter's wound is not berious.
