BLACK— BATCHELOR .

At St. Mary's Church yesterday Mr Fred Black, of Hawera, and formerly of Stratford, was married to Miss Bertha - Batchelor, third daughter of the late Mr Hugh Batchelor. The Rpv. F. G. Evans officiated and the bride was given away by her brother, Mr Hugh Batchelor. She wore a cream voile empire costume- with the Usual veil and wreath of orange blossoms and carried a shower bouquet. The Misses Toi and Ivy Johnston were- bridesmaids, and Mr AY. Batehelor acted as best man.
