Mr. Medley suggested that a ladder oompotition slfould bo instituted. The mooting was not enthusiastic over tho proposal, and the matter was allowed to drop.
Mr. West on movid as a recommendation that tho handicap by match play known as tho Alexander trophy bo reinstituted.
The ro-entranoo to the Club of exmembers was discussed. It was opined that they should not have to again pay the entrance fee. It wrs pointed out that there were clubs that charged absentee members half a crown per annum in order " to keep their places* warm." The matter w-is referred to tho committee".
On the motion of Mi. E S. Bayley a recommendation was made to tW committee that a telephone should be installed at the club-house.
A vote of thanks was passed to Mr. fi'id 3Jrs. I'aton for their donation of a championship board. Mr. Johns was n-so acoorde 1 a vofe of thanks for his services as captain last season.
