BRITISH SAILORS DISGRACED.
LONDON, Dec. 23.
Harold Curtis, an able seaman, and James Yates, a stoker, were sentenced to two years and two months' imprisonment and dismissal from tho service lor throwing overboard a gun spring aboard H.M.S. Amethyst at Portsmouth.
