Big totals were made in the two senior matches. Ponsonby playing against University scored 356, to which A. Francis (the New Zealand representative footballer) contributed 145. For A team Colvile and Mackay showed good form with the willow, while bowling honours fell to Hartigan (5 for 11) and Crawshaw (3 for 3). For B team Souttiall (27), Dennis (17), Finlay (16), and Simmons (10) were the highest, scorers. The feilding was rather faulty at times.
