(Frow Our Own Correspondent.) October 30. — The m father has been very rough and cold here during the last ten days, causing a decrease in the supply of milk. Farms are- still changing hands hero. I hear Mr Richardson has sold and his sale of stock comes off on Tuesday. Mr Grey has sold his place as a going concern and it is rumoured that Mr Godina has sold his farm. The Woods' estate, is talked of as being likely to change hands soon. There are only a few of the "old hands" left. One sees many strangers at tho factories now in tho mornings. 1 also hear Mr Allen has sold his farm om the corner of the Ranges up Surry Hill Road. Mr Malone gave his political address on Tuesday night to a very iair house for Oakura. The annual meeting of milk suppliers takes place on Monday night next in the Hall.
