CRIPPLED N.Z. BOY NOW ACTIVE AND WELL.

Suffered for three years, and thought to be dying.

His bones decaying through bad blood. Best medical treatment failed to cure him. Owes his life to Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. His mother testifies to the permanency of his cure.

When young Leonard Wills of Mangamaire, Now Zealand, was cured sorao years ago by Dr. Williams' Pink Pills when ho was thought to be dying, the whole neighbourhood was interested in his case, and the question everyone asked was "Will he stay cured?" To-daj T his mother answers the question. There isn't a more robust boy of his age in New Zealand. The boy had contracted a form of blood poisoning which attacked his bones. Ho was utterly unable to walk, and had to be wheeled about in a go-cart. For two years he was a sufferer and had to bo kept »in bed, wrapped in wadding. He was a complete cripplo,. When the doctors failed to cure him his mother, Mrs Minnie Wills, gave him Dr. Williams' Pink Pills, and, to use her own words, "Leonard can run like a hare, and can swing an axo or crack a whip with 'any of his brothers. His cure is certainly a miracle." His mother and grandparents made the following declaration in regard to his health since he was cured: — I, Minnie Wills, widow, Mangaxnaire. New Zealand, do solemnly and sincerely declare that tho attached testimonial, in reference to the cure by Dr. Williams' Pink Pills of my son Leonard Lionel Wills, is true in every particular. That my said son is now quite well, and has since the date of his cure by Dr. Williams' Pink Pills, enjoyed excellent health and shown no sign of a recurrence of his illness, and I mak«? this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled -"The Justice of the Peace Act, 1882." (Sgd.) MINNIE WILLS. Declared at Mangamaire this eighth day ot April one thousand nine hundred and eight before me R. SMITH. J.P. Mrs Wills made the following statc/tnent at ihe time of the boy's cure: — "I thought Leonard was sickening for the measles," said Mrs Wills. "We soon had to call in a doctor and in less than a week he was delirious. We then noticed the lad complained about his shoulder being sore and painful. If we happened to take hold of his right arm he would scream with pain. When his shoulder was oxamined we noticed that it was somewhat swollen and inflamed looking and very painful to touch. Thedoctor declared that the lad was suffering froto inflammation of the shoulderblade. We were ordered to apply hot f.Qnieivtations and hot. poultices to •'bring it tcka Jie&f)," The: doctpr^ tiheft- lanced tho l»d under the $rmpit -atfdrsaid thiit he had never seen such ft dfecliftrge of pus. 'flie^bund never properly healed. Ifc formed into 1 a gangrene ulcei; and kept up a continuous -discharge. 'Other ulcers formed on the top part of the armpit. The doctor then declared that the bone -was diseased, and shortly afterwards pieces of bone as green as grass began to work out of the sores. Then a small pimple formed on the outside of the ankle; this also broke out and formed into a running sore. The doctor declared he must go into tho hospital and have the bones scraped, and th£t if he didn't have i his done the disease would work all through ins. hystoni and lie would die. The Loy bcamo a complete cripple and had to be kept iv bed wrapped in wadding, as he could not b(*r>r clothing of any «ort neir" his skin. We had a special go-cart made for hini", when he was stroj.-; enough to leave bed, a* he tv-*s vtterl/ unable to walk, in fact he was roo wo".k to sit up, and wo also had a special bed for him. Leonard had suffered two years when we decided to give Dr. Williams' Pink Pills a, trial. Wo noticed in a few weeks after starting taking Dr. Williams' Pink Pills that his appetite was improving and wo were delighted to see him growing stronger. The discharge from the sores grew less everyday and oventucjly healed right up. There is hardly any mark on his ankle, and with the- exception of a few pits where the bone came away his arm and shoulder are quite well. The doctor often inquires how the lad is. He c.Vii run like a hare, and swing an axo or crack a whip with 1 any of his brothers. His cure is ceitainly a miracle. Wo thought. that we would have lost hrm." Mangatainoka, April 7, 1908.

We, the undersigned grandfather and grandmother of Leonard Lionel Wilis, have had the above testimonial read to us relating to Leonard Lionel Wills' illness, and wo hereby certify that tho facts aro not exaggerated. The caso might easily have been more strongly worded. There is no doubt in our minds that Dr. Williams' Pink Pillj. cured Leonard Lionel Wills, and he is now well arid hearty and quite as strong as any other boy. (Sgd.) W.,T. N. UPTON,
