SHEARERS' WAGES.
AN OTAGO DISPUTE.
Per Press Association. * DUNEDIN, Oct. 26.
The Canterbury Shearers' Union has wired to the Secretary of the Otago Employers' Association: "There will be trouble if Otago will not accept the Canterbury shearers' award. Can M r e confer? Urgent." To this Mr Scott replied: "Result of ballot of Otago sheep.owners is against Canterbury award. We are willing to arrange a conference if you think it desirable.'
