CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 24. The Lyttelton Times this morning publishes the result of an examination of police reports showing that during the last seven years 35,964 separate persons in the Dominion have been charged with drunkenness against whom there was no known previous conviction for this offence. . The number last year was 5809.
