SYDNEY, Oct. 23

. A fire destroyed the military drill hall at Wagga. Two 12-pounder guns and a quantity of rifle accoutrements were burnt, and 10,000 rounds of ammunition kept up a fusilade for half an hour, rendering salvage work dangerous. The brigade concentrated its efforts on drenching the- portion of the building containing 200 pounds of gunpowder and preventing it from exploding.
