OPENING OF THE MAIN TRUNK.
FEILDING, Oct. 23. Mr H. Tolley (president of the Feilding Chamber of Commerce) has written to tha Wellington Chamber regarding the official opening of the Main Trunk line. He considers the ceremony should not be confined to Auckland and Wellington but country Chambers should be asked to take part. The opening of the line, he says, affects the country districts as much as either of the big cities.
