At the Medical Congress, Dr. Ponlton (South Australia) read a paper on kurgery in tuberculosis. In six years, out of 1819 eases of tuberculosis in the Adelaide hospitals, 42 per cent, had been due to lesions other than from lesions of the lungs, and of 1032 deaths in the Commonwealth, over 39 per cent, had heen caused by such lesions
