LONDON. Sept. 11. Wheat — The damp weather has hardened the markets, especially for new English and readily available foreign parcels. There is little inquiry for cargoes, which- are firmly held. Australian afloat is quoted at 38s 3d, prompt delivery 3&s 9d, new crop (January and February shipment) 375. There is more inquiry for supplies on the spot at 40s and 41s. I Flour — The market is quiet. Australian in London is fetching 24s 9d to 25s 3d, in Glasgow 26s 9d. Butter — The market is steady. Quotations: Danish 118s to 120s, Australian none offering, New Zealand 116s to 118s. Copper—On the spot £60 18s 9d, three months £61 13s 9d. Tin — On the spot £130 ss, three months £131 7s 6d. Lead, £13 ss. Spelter, £19 ss. Iron, 52s 6d. Sugar- -German 9g 6d, first marks 11s lid. Wool — Tho Bradford wool market is firm. Prices are unchanged. Skins — At the sheepskin sales 7800 bundles wore offered. The bulk was sold. There was an average attendance of buyers, including some American. There was good competition for everythitlg. Prices were id to }d above tlie July rates.
