An interested spectator at the anniversary celebration at the battlefield of Te Ngutu o to Manu yesterday was Mr William Russell, of New Plymouth, son of Corporal Russell, who was killed in this fight. It was the first time Mr Russell had visited the historic spot. The Harbour Bill will come before the Local Bills Committee of the Upper House to-morrow morning. Messrs Connett, Maxwell, and Okey, M.P., left by the mail train this morning for the purpose of giving evidence. The Hon. T. Kelly will take charge of the measure in the Council, and it is hoped that it will pass all its stages and become « b sJ ore the en d of the week. The Hon. O.
