Jenkins, Matthews, and Pigott report: — We hud a very large muster of all classes of cattle and sheep at our Urenui yards on Monday. Bidding dragged somewhat but most lines were sold either at the hammer or privately. We quote: Cull ewes 5s 7d, forward ewes 9s 7d to 12s, hoggets 10s 9d, fat ewes 14s, mixed yearlings 25s to 30s, yearling heifers 20s 6d to 255, empty heifers 355, springing heifers 84s to 90s ditto cows up to £5, fat cows 84s 6d to £6 16s 6d, store cows 42s 6d to 48s, 2year steers 545, 20-month heifers 34s 6d, bulls 31s 6d to 47s 6d.
