Mr Nowton King reports: | At Stratford on Friday the 21&t 1 hold a clearing sale- of dairy cattle on account of Mr W. Bonner. Pedigree •Terse-- s made £13 l()s to £21, purebred.s and others £7 to £12 10s, backward calvers £3 to £6 15s. At Toko on Monday calvers made 14s 6d to 19s Gd, yearlings 21s to 225, 18montlis heifers 30s 6d to 35s 6d, springing heifers £3 5s to £4 Bs, forward •-tore cows 49s to £3 10s, year-old bullocks £4. On account of Mr S. Gedge early ealvers were sold at £5 to £6 15s, late £3 to £4 15s. At my Stratford Yards on Tuesday calves were sold at 11s 6d to 18s, 12 to 18-months steers 23s to 345, 18months heifers 20s to 375, 2 to 2 J -year steers £4 5s to £4 los Gd, store cows £1 5s to £3. In the dairy pens springing cows made £5 to £8 10s, heifers £3 5s to £6 7s 6d, late; and backward calvers £2 to £5 H)s. The special line of Jersey bulls were not looking well, being in rather poor condition. The top price i«>alised was £21. On Wednesday there was a fair attend,! nrp at the sale held on account of Mr K. Julian at Oakum. The cows were rather backward and low in condition, but sold at full market rates, ftarl.s calvers £5 to £7 12s Gd, late £2 10s to 'J* los. bull £4 2s Gd, horse, trap and harness £18, pony £4 ss. At Westotvn on Thursday the sale on a c con 'it of .Mi' J. C. Montenore was largely attended with most satisfactory results. Ponies made £5 10s to £11, 10-months' foal £6 10s, store pigs £1 Gs to ijl Jos, turkeys Bs, ducks ,2s, hens .% 2rl. Furniture, etc., sold v\'cll. WEBSTER BROS.' REPORT. On Saturday we had a big entry of poultry of all kinds, and prices showed a decided upward tendency. Fouls made Is lid to 2s 6d, pullets 2s 2d to 3s 4d, late chicks Is 6d, roosters, Is to Is JOd, ducks Is 8d to Is lid. A largo consignment of trees sold at usual prices.
